Job Description

Join Kiewit as a Government Roadworks Flagger / Traffic Control specialist! Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently direct vehicular and pedestrian traffic around active construction zones.
  • Set up and maintain traffic control devices, including signs, cones, and barricades, according to safety regulations and traffic plans.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with drivers, pedestrians, and construction crew members.
  • Monitor traffic flow and adjust flagging procedures as necessary to maintain safety and minimize disruption.
  • Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and local traffic control regulations.
  • Report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately to a supervisor.
  • Maintain a professional and alert demeanor at all times while on duty.
  • Participate actively in all provided training sessions and safety briefings.
