Job Description

We are seeking a motivated individual to step into the role of FedEx Fulfillment Tech, where you will leverage cutting-edge robotic technology and intuitive iPad interfaces to manage and optimize our warehouse operations. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, high-tech environment that is redefining package handling and delivery. As a Fulfillment Tech, you will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods within our state-of-the-art facility. You will primarily use handheld devices (iPads) to direct robotic systems, perform picking and packing tasks, and maintain inventory integrity. We value precision, a proactive approach, and a willingness to embrace new technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor robotic systems for automated picking, sorting, and storage.
- Utilize iPad-based applications to manage inventory, fulfill orders, and track shipments.
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare items for outbound shipping, adhering to all quality standards.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with new technologies and procedures.
Required Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic computer literacy and comfort using tablet devices (e.g., iPads).
- Ability to operate powered industrial equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) or willingness to learn and be certified.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to lift and move packages weighing up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, fulfillment, or logistics environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or WMS.
- Experience with automated systems or robotics.
- Valid driver's license.
