Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Email Support Officer to join our remote customer success team. In this role, you will be the primary point of contact for our customers via email, providing exceptional support, resolving inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience. Your strong written communication skills will be critical in clearly and concisely addressing customer needs, troubleshooting issues, and providing accurate information. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in the U.S., but for administrative purposes, it is tied to our Huntington Beach operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a high volume of inbound customer email inquiries efficiently and effectively.
  • Provide accurate, timely, and professional responses to customer questions, concerns, and feedback.
  • Troubleshoot common product/service issues and guide customers through resolution steps via written instructions.
  • Escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams when necessary, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of all customer interactions in our CRM system.
  • Identify trends in customer inquiries and provide feedback to improve processes and product documentation.
  • Adhere to company policies and service level agreements (SLAs) for response times and resolution.
  • Collaborate with team members to share knowledge and best practices.

Required Skills

  • Exceptional written communication and grammar skills in English (US English).
  • Proven ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely via email.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Proficiency with common office software (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
  • High level of empathy and patience when dealing with customer inquiries.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience (1+ year) in an email-based customer support or service role.
  • Familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce Service Cloud).
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Understanding of basic technical concepts and willingness to learn new systems.
