Join Target’s dynamic creative team as an AI Video Editor (Junior) and play a pivotal role in shaping our visual content. This entry-level position is perfect for a passionate individual eager to blend traditional video editing skills with emerging artificial intelligence tools. You will assist in producing engaging video content for various platforms, from social media campaigns to internal communications, utilizing AI-powered software to enhance efficiency and creativity. Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw video footage into polished, engaging content for multiple platforms using industry-standard software.
- Integrate AI tools and platforms into the video editing workflow to optimize processes, generate creative assets, and enhance video quality (e.g., AI-powered transcription, object removal, style transfer, generative video segments).
- Collaborate closely with senior editors, creative directors, and marketing teams to understand project requirements and deliver on creative vision.
- Manage and organize video assets, ensuring proper cataloging and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI video editing technologies and recommend new tools or techniques.
- Assist in conceptualizing and storyboarding video projects, contributing creative ideas.
- Ensure all video content adheres to brand voice, visual standards, and legal compliance.
- Perform color correction, sound mixing, and graphic integration as needed.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve).
- Basic understanding and curiosity regarding AI tools for creative applications (e.g., generative AI, machine learning in media).
- Fundamental knowledge of video production, cinematography, and post-production workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- A portfolio showcasing video editing projects (school projects, personal work, internships are welcome).
Preferred Qualifications
