Job Description

In this role, you will be the face of our bank, providing exceptional service, building lasting relationships, and guiding clients through a range of financial products and services. You’ll play a crucial role in our branch’s success by assisting customers with their banking needs, identifying opportunities to introduce them to solutions that will help them live their best financial lives, and ensuring a seamless, positive experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients in a professional and friendly manner, building rapport and trust.
- Process routine banking transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers.
- Open new accounts (checking, savings, CDs) and assist clients with other financial services.
- Identify customer needs and effectively cross-sell appropriate bank products and services, such as credit cards, loans, and investment referrals.
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues, escalating complex problems to management when necessary.
- Adhere to all bank policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Educate customers on digital banking solutions and self-service options.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and collaborate with colleagues to achieve branch goals.
Required Skills
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ year of experience in a customer service or sales role.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
- Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Ability to handle cash accurately and maintain a balanced drawer.
- A strong commitment to accuracy and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a banking or financial services environment.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a business-related field.
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is a plus.
- Knowledge of banking products and services, including loans, credit cards, and investment options.
