Job Description
Join Amazon as a Warehouse Picker for our Weekend AM Shifts! We’re offering a top hourly rate for motivated individuals ready to contribute to our fast-paced fulfillment center in Gunbarrel, Boulder. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting customer orders, ensuring they are prepared for shipment with precision and speed. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves based on order sheets or handheld devices.
- Operate basic material handling equipment safely after proper training.
- Verify product details and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Pack items securely for shipment, following company guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and operational procedures.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to your supervisor promptly.
Required Skills
- Ability to work weekend morning shifts (e.g., Saturday and Sunday, 6 AM – 2 PM).
- Physical ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 49 lbs), and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Basic comprehension of English for safety instructions and communication.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or production environment (not required, but a plus).
- Familiarity with inventory management systems or RF scanners.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to change.
