Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented EPC Project Assistant to join our dynamic team in Pasadena, CA. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in the Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) sector. You will provide crucial administrative and organizational support to project managers and teams, ensuring the smooth execution of projects. This role involves learning foundational project management processes, document control, and team coordination within a fast-paced engineering environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist project managers with administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing presentations, and managing correspondence.
  • Organize and maintain project documentation, ensuring all files are current, accurate, and easily accessible.
  • Coordinate with various departments and external stakeholders to gather necessary project information and facilitate communication.
  • Track project progress against schedules and budgets, reporting discrepancies to the project team.
  • Support the preparation of project reports, proposals, and other client-facing deliverables.
  • Process invoices, expense reports, and other financial documents as directed by the project team.
  • Help organize project events, site visits, and team gatherings.
  • Learn and adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management) preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
