Job Description

Royal Caribbean International is seeking an enthusiastic Entry Level Cruise Ship Entertainment Host to join our vibrant team! As an Entertainment Host, you’ll be at the heart of our onboard guest experience, ensuring every moment is filled with fun, excitement, and unforgettable memories. This is a unique opportunity to gain invaluable experience, develop your performance and leadership skills, and explore diverse cultures across the globe – all without any prior cruise experience required!
Key Responsibilities
- Actively engage with guests of all ages in a variety of activities and events.
- Host and coordinate games, trivia, karaoke, dance classes, and other entertainment programs.
- Lead and participate in deck parties, themed events, and evening shows.
- Encourage guest participation and create a welcoming, lively atmosphere.
- Assist the Cruise Director and other entertainment staff as needed.
- Provide exceptional guest service and help resolve any guest inquiries or concerns.
- Adhere to all safety and company policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- High energy, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude.
- Strong stage presence and comfort speaking in front of large groups.
- Ability to think quickly on your feet and adapt to various situations.
- Team-oriented mindset and ability to collaborate effectively.
- Fluency in English (written and spoken).
- Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work on international cruise ships.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in entertainment, public speaking, hospitality, or customer service roles.
- Basic knowledge of other languages (e.g., Spanish, French, German).
- Talents in singing, dancing, acting, or musical instruments.
- Ability to learn and perform basic choreography or routines.
