Job Description
Join G’s Fresh as an Overseas Harvest Operative for our seasonal UK Work Scheme. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking temporary employment in the agricultural sector, contributing to the harvest of various fresh produce. You will play a vital role in our farming operations, working outdoors in a team-oriented environment to ensure our produce is harvested efficiently and to the highest quality standards. This scheme is designed to support our peak season demand, offering a chance to experience rural UK life and gain valuable agricultural experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manual harvesting tasks for various crops such as salads, vegetables, and fruit.
- Operate basic farm machinery or tools as required, following training and safety guidelines.
- Pack and prepare harvested produce for transport, ensuring quality and adherence to specifications.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the fields and packing areas.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
