Job Description
Join Dav El | BostonCoach as a Special Event Chauffeur with a focus on concerts and sports events in the Peoria area. We are looking for professional, dedicated individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional service and ensuring a luxurious and safe travel experience for our clients. In this role, you will be the face of our company, responsible for transporting clients to and from various high-profile entertainment and sporting events, offering a premium and discrete service. This part-time position offers flexible hours, ideal for those seeking supplementary income or a dynamic schedule. Comprehensive training will be provided to ensure you meet our exacting standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport clients to and from concerts, sporting events, and other special occasions.
- Maintain the cleanliness and pristine condition of assigned vehicles before, during, and after each shift.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies, demonstrating defensive driving techniques.
- Provide exceptional customer service, including assisting clients with luggage and ensuring their comfort and satisfaction.
- Navigate routes effectively, using GPS and local knowledge to avoid delays and ensure timely arrivals.
- Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times, representing the Dav El | BostonCoach brand with distinction.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report any mechanical issues.
- Handle client requests and unforeseen circumstances with discretion, professionalism, and resourcefulness.
Required Skills
- Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent knowledge of local Peoria and surrounding area roadways, or ability to quickly learn.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as events dictate.
- Comfortable using GPS and navigation applications.
- At least 21 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a professional chauffeur, taxi driver, or in a similar transportation service role.
- Experience driving luxury vehicles or larger passenger vehicles (e.g., SUVs, vans).
- Familiarity with local event venues (e.g., Peoria Civic Center, Dozer Park).
- Ability to speak multiple languages is a plus.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
