Job Description

Bank of America is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Bank Teller II to join our team in Garden Grove. This role is ideal for experienced professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional service and building strong customer relationships. As a Bank Teller II, you will be a primary point of contact for our clients, handling a variety of transactions and assisting them with their banking needs. Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and cashing checks.
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate bank products and services.
  • Open new accounts and assist customers with account maintenance and inquiries.
  • Balance cash drawer daily and adhere to all bank policies and procedures.
  • Educate customers on digital banking solutions and self-service options.
  • Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and confidentiality.
  • Comply with all regulatory requirements and internal controls.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a bank teller or in a similar cash-handling customer service role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications and strong numerical aptitude.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience with Bank of America's internal systems (or similar large bank systems).
  • Multilingual abilities (e.g., Spanish, Vietnamese) are a plus.
