Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely transport patients between wards, departments, and treatment areas using wheelchairs, beds, and trolleys.
  • Move medical equipment, supplies, and furniture throughout the hospital as required.
  • Deliver mail, specimens, and other urgent items promptly and securely.
  • Assist with the transfer of deceased patients to the mortuary, showing respect and dignity.
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of transport equipment.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations and hospital policies.
  • Provide a friendly and reassuring presence to patients and visitors.
