Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced WFH Apple Systems Analyst with a strong infrastructure focus to join our dynamic technology team. This is a 100% remote position where you will be instrumental in supporting and enhancing our macOS and iOS ecosystem. You will be responsible for the architecture, implementation, and maintenance of Apple-based systems, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user experience for our global workforce. This role requires a proactive individual with deep technical expertise in enterprise Apple environments and a passion for staying ahead of technological advancements. You will collaborate closely with various IT teams to integrate Apple solutions seamlessly into our existing infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage Apple infrastructure solutions, including macOS/iOS device management (MDM) platforms like Jamf Pro or Microsoft Intune.
  • Administer and troubleshoot Apple hardware and software, ensuring high availability and performance across the enterprise.
  • Develop and deploy automation scripts (Shell, Python) for routine tasks, system provisioning, and configuration management.
  • Monitor system health, performance, and security, proactively identifying and resolving issues.
  • Manage and maintain endpoint security configurations, patches, and updates for Apple devices.
  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure Apple systems comply with corporate security policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide advanced technical support and guidance to end-users and IT support teams for complex Apple-related issues.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Participate in project planning and execution for new technology deployments and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Stay current with the latest Apple technologies, trends, and best practices in enterprise IT.
  • Perform root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement preventative measures.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise-level Apple system administration and infrastructure support.
  • Expertise in macOS and iOS operating systems, including deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency with Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions (e.g., Jamf Pro, Microsoft Intune, Kandji).
  • Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python) for automation and task orchestration.
  • In-depth understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN) as they relate to Apple environments.
  • Experience with enterprise authentication systems (LDAP, Active Directory, Azure AD) integration with macOS.
  • Familiarity with security best practices for Apple devices and data protection.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) certification.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) in relation to Apple device management.
  • Knowledge of ITIL framework and service management principles.
  • Experience in a large-scale financial services or highly regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware Fusion, Parallels Desktop).
