Job Description
Are you passionate about mobile games and have a keen eye for detail? Scopely is seeking enthusiastic Casual Game Testers to join our remote team. This unique opportunity allows you to test our latest mobile games from the comfort of your home, on your own schedule. You’ll play a crucial role in identifying bugs, providing feedback, and ensuring a high-quality gaming experience for our global audience. Key Responsibilities
- Play-test assigned mobile games thoroughly across various devices and operating systems.
- Identify, document, and report bugs, glitches, and usability issues with clear and concise descriptions.
- Provide constructive feedback on gameplay, user interface, graphics, and overall user experience.
- Follow test plans and guidelines provided by the development team.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding testing progress and discovered issues.
- Ensure all testing activities are completed within specified timelines, utilizing your flexible schedule.
Required Skills
- Strong passion for playing mobile games across various genres.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to spot even minor inconsistencies.
- Excellent written communication skills for clear bug reporting and feedback.
- Familiarity with various mobile operating systems (iOS and Android).
- Reliable internet connection and personal mobile device(s) for testing.
- Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively to meet deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in game testing, quality assurance, or a similar role (even informal).
- Familiarity with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira, Asana).
- Ability to articulate complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner.
- Experience with different gaming platforms beyond mobile.
