Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Weekend Cocktail Server to join our dynamic team at a premium venue within The Edgewater. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly and present cocktail menus.
  • Take accurate drink orders and communicate them effectively to the bar staff.
  • Serve beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Process payments efficiently using our POS system.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables, bar tops, and service stations.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests in a timely and courteous manner.
  • Adhere to all responsible beverage service guidelines and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth service flow.

Required Skills

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a high-volume environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain composure under pressure.
  • Knowledge of basic cocktail ingredients and common drink preparations.
  • Must be able to work weekends, including evenings and holidays.
  • Ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 25 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a cocktail server or bartender in a premium or fine dining setting.
  • Familiarity with POS systems (e.g., Aloha, Toast).
  • Certification in responsible beverage service (e.g., TIPS, BASSET).
  • Passion for mixology and a desire to learn about new spirits and cocktails.
