Job Description
We are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Weekend Cocktail Server to join our dynamic team at a premium venue within The Edgewater. Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and present cocktail menus.
- Take accurate drink orders and communicate them effectively to the bar staff.
- Serve beverages promptly and professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Process payments efficiently using our POS system.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tables, bar tops, and service stations.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond to requests in a timely and courteous manner.
- Adhere to all responsible beverage service guidelines and company policies.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth service flow.
Required Skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and perform efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain composure under pressure.
- Knowledge of basic cocktail ingredients and common drink preparations.
- Must be able to work weekends, including evenings and holidays.
- Ability to lift and carry trays weighing up to 25 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a cocktail server or bartender in a premium or fine dining setting.
- Familiarity with POS systems (e.g., Aloha, Toast).
- Certification in responsible beverage service (e.g., TIPS, BASSET).
- Passion for mixology and a desire to learn about new spirits and cocktails.
