Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Virtual Operations Coordinator with a strong focus on logistics to join our remote team. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of our logistics operations, primarily from a work-from-home setting. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing various aspects of the supply chain, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and leveraging technology to optimize processes. This is a 100% remote position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a leading global logistics company.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily logistics activities, including order processing, shipment tracking, and delivery scheduling.
- Communicate effectively with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate movement of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in reconciling discrepancies.
- Process shipping documentation, invoices, and other administrative tasks.
- Utilize logistics software and platforms to track shipments, analyze data, and generate reports.
- Identify and resolve operational issues, escalating complex problems to management when necessary.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics processes and procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all logistics operations.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations coordination.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Strong understanding of logistics principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
- Problem-solving aptitude with a proactive approach.
- High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
