Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Industrial Park Laborer to join our team in New Port Richey. This position involves performing a variety of general labor tasks within an industrial park setting, focusing on maintaining cleanliness, assisting with material handling, and supporting overall site operations. This role offers a stable local route, ensuring consistent work and predictable schedules. Key Responsibilities
- Perform general clean-up and maintenance tasks throughout the industrial park, including litter removal, sweeping, and organizing designated areas.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials, using appropriate equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) as needed.
- Operate and maintain basic hand tools and power equipment safely and effectively.
- Support facility management with minor repairs and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Transport materials and equipment between various locations within the industrial park.
- Report any safety hazards, equipment malfunctions, or maintenance needs to supervisors promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and effective completion of daily tasks.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols in an industrial setting.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a general labor, warehouse, or industrial environment.
- Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment (certification a plus).
