Job Description

Join EssilorLuxottica as an Optical Lab Technician (Junior) and embark on a rewarding career in the optical industry. This is an entry-level position designed for individuals eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will receive comprehensive training on all aspects of lens production, including surfacing, finishing, quality control, and prescription fulfillment. No prior experience is required; we are looking for motivated individuals with a keen eye for detail and a desire to contribute to a team focused on precision and quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive and process incoming lens orders with accuracy.
  • Operate and maintain optical lab machinery, including grinders, edgers, and polishers, under supervision.
  • Learn and apply proper techniques for lens surfacing, polishing, and tinting.
  • Inspect lenses for defects, ensuring they meet strict quality standards and prescription specifications.
  • Prepare finished lenses for mounting into frames.
  • Assist with inventory management and organization of lab supplies.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized workstation.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production goals.

Preferred Qualifications
