Job Description
Join Next PLC, a leading UK retailer, as a Returns Processor – Picker Packer in our clean and organised Worthing facility. This is a vital role responsible for efficiently handling returned items, ensuring they are processed correctly for restocking or further action. We are looking for diligent individuals who thrive in a structured environment and are committed to maintaining high standards of accuracy and efficiency.
As a Returns Processor, you will be a key part of our operations team, ensuring that our customers’ returns are managed smoothly. This involves both careful inspection of items and preparing them for their next destination. While the role involves physical tasks, it’s performed within a modern, clean, and well-lit office-style warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and process customer returns according to company guidelines.
- Accurately identify product condition, size, and style.
- Utilise scanning equipment to log returns into the inventory system.
- Sort and categorise returned items for restocking, repair, or disposal.
- Pick items from designated locations for outbound processing or redistribution.
- Pack items securely and accurately for shipment or storage.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and meet daily targets.
Required Skills
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high degree of accuracy.
- Good attention to detail and ability to identify product discrepancies.
- Basic computer literacy for scanning and data entry.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 15kg), and bend for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or returns processing environment is a plus.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
