Job Description
Are you an early riser looking for a dynamic and rewarding role that fits perfectly into your day? Premier Inn Southport is seeking a dedicated and energetic Breakfast Porter to join our friendly team. This full-time position offers early morning shifts, ensuring you’re done by noon, leaving your afternoons free! If you’re a self-starter with a passion for excellent service and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you. Experience is not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Setting up and preparing the breakfast area before guests arrive, ensuring all items are stocked and presented to the highest standard.
- Assisting guests with requests during breakfast service, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
- Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of the breakfast area throughout service and ensuring prompt clear-down.
- Washing and sanitising dishes, cutlery, and kitchen equipment, adhering to strict hygiene standards.
- Assisting with stock rotation and receiving deliveries as needed.
- Supporting the kitchen and front-of-house teams to ensure smooth operations.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Required Skills
- Ability to work early morning shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift items as required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role is a plus, but not essential.
- Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety.
- A proactive and 'can-do' attitude.
