Job Description
We are seeking an innovative and empathetic Online Blueprint Designer with a strong focus on Life Mapping to join our fully remote team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and refining digital blueprints and frameworks that empower individuals to visualize, plan, and achieve their personal and professional life goals within the BetterUp platform. You will translate complex personal development concepts into intuitive, actionable, and engaging digital pathways, directly contributing to our members’ success and growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive digital 'life maps' and 'blueprints' that guide members through goal-setting, skill development, and personal growth journeys.
- Collaborate closely with coaches, product managers, behavioral scientists, and engineers to integrate psychological principles and coaching methodologies into design solutions.
- Conduct user research, gather feedback, and analyze data to continuously iterate and improve the effectiveness and usability of life mapping tools.
- Create detailed wireframes, user flows, and interactive prototypes to communicate design ideas and ensure alignment across teams.
- Ensure all blueprints are modular, adaptable, and scalable to cater to a diverse range of member needs and goals.
- Develop clear, concise, and engaging content guidelines for textual elements within the blueprints.
- Stay abreast of trends in personal development, coaching, and digital product design to inform innovative solutions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in digital product design, UX/UI, or information architecture, with a portfolio showcasing complex problem-solving.
- Strong understanding of human psychology, behavioral economics, or personal development frameworks.
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD).
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
- Ability to translate abstract concepts into concrete, actionable digital experiences.
- Experience with user research methodologies and data-driven design.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience working in a coaching, personal development, or wellness technology environment.
- Familiarity with agile development processes.
- Certifications in coaching or relevant personal development methodologies.
- Experience with content strategy and instructional design.
