Job Description

Join Siemens as a Junior Automation Engineer with a special focus on robotics in the energy sector. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design, development, and testing of automation solutions for energy-related processes, with a strong emphasis on robotic applications.

  • Contribute to the creation of technical documentation, including specifications, test plans, and operational manuals.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, C++, Java) for automation or robotics.
  • Basic understanding of control systems (PLCs, SCADA) and industrial communication protocols.
  • Familiarity with robotic kinematics, dynamics, and programming concepts.
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Robotics, Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior internship or project experience in industrial automation or robotics.
  • Knowledge of energy generation or distribution systems (e.g., solar, wind, grid management).
  • Experience with CAD software for mechanical design.
  • Certification in specific PLC or robotic platforms (e.g., Siemens TIA Portal, ABB RobotStudio, FANUC ROBOGUIDE).
  • Understanding of safety standards related to robotics and industrial machinery.
