Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and responsible Teenager Compliance Aide with a primary focus on ID verification and accurate cash payouts. This entry-level part-time position is ideal for individuals looking to gain valuable experience in a retail environment while upholding company policies and legal regulations. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring age-restricted transactions are handled correctly and that all cash payout procedures are followed meticulously, contributing to a secure and trustworthy shopping experience for our customers. Key Responsibilities

  • Verify customer identification to confirm age compliance for age-restricted product sales (e.g., lottery tickets, certain media).
  • Accurately process cash payouts for approved transactions, such as refunds, bottle returns, or specific promotional programs, ensuring correct amounts are dispensed.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies and local regulations regarding ID verification, cash handling, and age restrictions.
  • Maintain a high level of confidentiality and integrity when handling sensitive customer information and monetary transactions.
  • Report any suspicious activity, non-compliance issues, or discrepancies to a supervisor promptly.
  • Provide clear and polite explanations to customers regarding ID requirements and payout procedures.
  • Assist with other administrative or support tasks as needed by store management.
  • Ensure a clean and organized work area at all times.
