Job Description

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Podcast Audio Producer to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial for enhancing the quality and impact of our diverse podcast portfolio. As a Podcast Audio Producer, you will be responsible for editing, mixing, sound designing, and mastering audio for various podcast series, ensuring a professional and engaging listening experience. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from home while collaborating closely with content creators, hosts, and other producers across different time zones. Key Responsibilities

  • Edit raw audio recordings, including interviews, narration, and sound effects, to achieve a cohesive and polished final product.
  • Mix multiple audio tracks, balancing levels, applying equalization, compression, and other effects to enhance clarity and sound quality.
  • Perform sound design to create immersive and engaging audio landscapes that complement the podcast's narrative.
  • Master audio files to industry standards, ensuring consistent loudness and optimal playback across various platforms.
  • Collaborate with hosts, producers, and content teams to understand project vision and deliver audio that aligns with creative direction.
  • Manage and organize audio assets, including session files, sound libraries, and final exports.
  • Meet strict deadlines for episode delivery and maintain high standards of quality control.
  • Troubleshoot audio issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and best practices in podcast audio production.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in digital audio workstations (DAWs) such as Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Logic Pro X, or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of audio mixing, editing, and mastering principles.
  • Excellent ear for detail and a critical understanding of sound quality.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a remote environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Problem-solving aptitude and technical proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Audio Engineering, Music Production, Broadcast Media, or a related field.
