Job Description
Are you 14 years old and looking for your first job experience in a dynamic retail and fast-food environment? Tesco is seeking enthusiastic and reliable young individuals to join our team as Baggers. This entry-level role is perfect for building confidence, developing customer service skills, and understanding the basics of a busy retail operation. You’ll play a vital part in ensuring our customers have a smooth and pleasant shopping experience, helping them pack their groceries and keeping the checkout areas tidy. Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently and carefully bag customer groceries at the checkout.
- Offer assistance to customers with their shopping, providing a friendly and helpful service.
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness around the checkout and bagging areas.
- Assist with basic store tasks such as tidying shelves, returning trolleys, or light stock rotation as required.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and company policies.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive and productive work environment.
Required Skills
- Must be 14 years old (in compliance with UK youth employment laws).
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Ability to communicate effectively and politely with customers and colleagues.
