Job Description
Are you a motivated and detail-oriented 16-year-old looking to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced retail environment? Target is seeking a Stockroom Associate to join our team in Pasco, WA. This entry-level position is perfect for teens eager to learn about inventory management, organization, and teamwork. You will play a crucial role in ensuring our store shelves are stocked and our backroom is well-organized, contributing directly to a positive shopping experience for our guests. This is an on-site position where you’ll be actively involved in the physical aspects of stockroom operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming merchandise efficiently and accurately.
- Organize and store inventory in designated stockroom locations.
- Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized stockroom environment.
- Support team members in preparing merchandise for the sales floor.
- Learn and adhere to all safety procedures and company policies.
- Help with inventory counts and stock checks as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members regarding stock levels and incoming shipments.
Required Skills
- Must be 16 years of age or older.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds regularly.
