Job Description
Are you a 14-year-old teen who loves exploring new apps and has a knack for spotting what works and what doesn’t? UserTesting is looking for enthusiastic and observant 14-year-olds in Lexington, KY, to join our remote team of Online App Testers. This is a unique opportunity to get paid for giving your honest feedback on various mobile applications before they are released to the public. Your insights will be invaluable in helping companies create better, more user-friendly products. No prior experience is needed – just your everyday app usage and a desire to share your opinions!
Key Responsibilities
- Download and thoroughly test assigned mobile applications on your smartphone or tablet.
- Follow specific instructions and complete tasks within the apps as outlined in each test script.
- Provide clear, constructive, and honest verbal feedback while recording your screen and voice during testing sessions.
- Identify and articulate any bugs, usability issues, confusing elements, or areas for improvement.
- Submit written responses and survey answers as required for each testing project.
- Ensure all testing tasks are completed accurately and submitted within the specified deadlines.
- Maintain a consistent and reliable internet connection for downloading apps and uploading test videos.
Required Skills
- Must be exactly 14 years of age at the time of application.
- Possess a personal smartphone or tablet (iOS or Android) with a working microphone and camera.
- Reliable access to a high-speed internet connection.
- Ability to communicate thoughts and observations clearly and articulately in English.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions precisely.
- A genuine interest in mobile applications, technology, and user experience.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
