Job Description

We believe in investing in our people, which is why we will cover the full cost of your Passenger Carrying Vehicle (PCV) license training. Key Responsibilities
- Successfully complete the comprehensive PCV license training program.
- Operate public transit buses safely and efficiently on designated routes after licensure.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service to all passengers, including assisting with boarding and alighting as needed.
- Collect fares, issue transfers, and ensure proper record-keeping.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.
- Maintain a clean and orderly bus interior.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and passengers.
- Report any incidents, accidents, or mechanical issues promptly and accurately.
Required Skills
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for at least 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong commitment to safety.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous customer service experience.
- Familiarity with the Evansville area.
