Job Description
Join the St. Cloud Rox as our energetic and fun-loving Mascot Performer! This part-time role is perfect for an individual who loves to entertain, interact with crowds, and embody the spirit of our beloved team mascot. You will be a key ambassador for the St. Cloud Rox, bringing joy and excitement to our fans at games, community events, and promotional appearances. This position requires enthusiasm, physical stamina, and a commitment to creating unforgettable experiences for all ages.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform as the St. Cloud Rox mascot at all home games, selected away games, and community events.
- Engage with fans of all ages, posing for photos, signing autographs, and creating memorable interactions.
- Participate in pre-game, in-game, and post-game entertainment activities.
- Work closely with the promotions and marketing team to execute various fan engagement strategies.
- Maintain the cleanliness and good condition of the mascot costume.
- Represent the St. Cloud Rox positively and professionally at all times.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and performance protocols.
- Assist with setup and breakdown of promotional materials as needed.
Required Skills
- Energetic and enthusiastic personality.
- Ability to communicate non-verbally with large crowds.
- Strong physical stamina and ability to perform in costume for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the game schedule.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a mascot or character performer.
- Experience working in a live entertainment or sports environment.
- Background in theatre, dance, or cheerleading.
- Knowledge of baseball and the St. Cloud Rox brand.
