Job Description
Are you a motivated 14-year-old looking for your first job experience? Hornbacher’s in Fargo, ND, is seeking energetic and friendly Teen Grocery Baggers to join our team! This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career after school, learn valuable customer service skills, and become an integral part of our daily operations. You will be responsible for ensuring our customers’ groceries are carefully and efficiently bagged, contributing to a positive shopping experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Bag groceries quickly and efficiently, ensuring items are packed appropriately to prevent damage.
- Assist customers with carrying groceries to their vehicles when requested.
- Gather shopping carts from the parking lot and return them to designated areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bagging area and front of the store.
- Provide friendly and courteous service to all customers.
- Assist with other store duties as needed, under supervision.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift and carry bags of groceries weighing up to 25 pounds.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Reliability and punctuality.
- Must be 14 years of age or older and have legal authorization to work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in customer service or a fast-paced environment is a plus, but not required.
- Enthusiasm for contributing to a team and serving the community.
