Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented WFH Quality Assurance Associate to join our growing team in the gaming sector. This 100% remote position offers stability and the opportunity to contribute to the creation of high-quality, immersive gaming experiences from the comfort of your home. As a QA Associate, you will play a critical role in identifying, documenting, and tracking bugs and issues across various gaming platforms and titles. Your meticulous approach and passion for gaming will directly impact the player experience, ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute test plans and test cases thoroughly to identify software defects and inconsistencies.
- Accurately document, track, and prioritize bugs using established bug tracking systems.
- Collaborate closely with development teams, designers, and other QA members to understand project requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Provide clear, concise, and actionable feedback on game features, usability, and overall player experience.
- Verify bug fixes and ensure the stability of new builds and patches.
- Participate in daily stand-up meetings and provide regular status updates on testing progress.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
- Maintain a strong understanding of current gaming trends and technologies.
Required Skills
- Proven attention to detail and a methodical approach to problem-solving.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
- Familiarity with various gaming platforms (PC, console, mobile).
- Basic understanding of QA methodologies and bug reporting tools.

Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a QA role within the gaming industry (internship or professional).
- Experience with bug tracking software such as Jira, Bugzilla, or similar.
- Familiarity with different game genres and mechanics.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC).
- Basic technical aptitude for troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
