Job Description
Are you looking for a dynamic seasonal opportunity that doesn’t require a driver’s license? UPS is seeking energetic and reliable individuals to join our team as Seasonal Driver Aides in Sunnyvale, CA. In this ride-along role, you will assist our experienced drivers with package delivery and collection, ensuring timely and efficient service to our valued customers. Key Responsibilities
- Ride along with UPS delivery drivers and assist with package delivery and pickup.
- Safely and efficiently handle packages, lifting, loading, and unloading as required.
- Follow specific instructions from the driver regarding delivery routes and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
- Assist the driver in navigating routes and locating addresses.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry packages weighing up to 70 lbs (without assistance) and up to 150 lbs with assistance.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Good communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a physical labor or customer service role is a plus but not required.
- Familiarity with the Sunnyvale, CA area.
