Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and highly empathetic Text-Based Life Coach to join our rapidly growing team. This is a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about empowering others to achieve their personal and professional goals through written communication. In this 100% digital, no voice calls role, you will provide guidance, motivation, and accountability to our users exclusively through our text-based platform. You will help clients identify their strengths, clarify their objectives, and develop actionable plans to overcome challenges and foster growth. Key Responsibilities
- Engage with clients daily through our text-based messaging platform to provide ongoing coaching and support.
- Help clients set clear, achievable goals across various life domains (e.g., career, relationships, personal development).
- Develop personalized action plans and strategies tailored to each client's unique needs and aspirations.
- Offer constructive feedback, encouragement, and accountability to keep clients motivated and on track.
- Utilize active listening and empathetic questioning techniques to understand client challenges and perspectives.
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records within our internal system.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance coaching skills and knowledge.
- Collaborate with a team of coaches and support staff to ensure a cohesive client experience.
Required Skills
- Exceptional written communication skills, with clarity, empathy, and conciseness.
- Strong active listening and questioning abilities, even in a text-only format.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire individuals toward goal attainment.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple client engagements.
- Proficiency with digital communication tools and online platforms.
- High degree of emotional intelligence and cultural sensitivity.
- Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively in a remote setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification from an ICF-accredited coaching program or similar recognized body.
- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience with behavior change models or positive psychology principles.
- Previous experience in a remote or text-based client support/coaching role.
