Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Sustainability Aide to join our Netflix Green Initiatives team. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals passionate about environmental stewardship and eager to contribute to large-scale corporate sustainability efforts. You will play a crucial role in supporting our various green programs, collecting and analyzing data, and assisting with the implementation of sustainable practices across our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the collection, organization, and analysis of environmental data (e.g., energy consumption, waste generation, water usage).
  • Support the development and implementation of sustainability projects and initiatives.
  • Conduct research on best practices in corporate sustainability and relevant environmental regulations.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and communication materials on sustainability performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to promote awareness and engagement in green initiatives.
  • Help track progress against sustainability goals and targets.
  • Participate in site visits and audits to assess environmental performance.

Required Skills

  • Strong passion for environmental sustainability and corporate social responsibility.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with environmental management systems (e.g., ISO 14001).
  • Basic understanding of carbon footprint calculation or life cycle assessment.
